15 Weeks

How far along: 15 Weeks 5 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I am down to 194 so I am not sure if I have gained or lost recently but it's still a loss from the last Dr. appointment.

Maternity Clothes: Still trying to get some wear out of my normal clothes

Stretch Marks: Just the ones on my stomach. RJ brought me some cocoa butter lotion and we'll see if that helps.

Sleep: Ehh I could always use a little more please.

Movement: I think I have felt the baby for sure a few times lately. Once I felt a thump from the inside but I haven't felt anything that strong since.

Food Cravings/Aversions: Still drinking lemonade like it's going out of style. My nausea made a surprise appearance again this last weekend and I lost my lunch : (

Gender: I'm not sure but at least we have an ultrasound date so the countdown is on for April 23.

Belly Button In or Out: Still in but getting more shallow

What I Miss: Being able to open up my medicine cabinet and take whatever I needed to make myself feel better. I have kept a stopped up nose for the last couple of weeks and I can't get much relief.

What I am Looking Forward To: My next Dr. appointment because it's hard to believe that little bean we saw at 7 weeks resembles a human now.

Weekly Wisdom: Don't worry about all the little things that can go wrong and enjoy your pregnancy

Best Moment This Week: Getting to hear that little heartbeat again at 155 bpm. I've been waiting for what seems like forever just to get a date for the ultrasound so now I can at least tell people something when they ask what we are having. I talked with my Dr. about her last day and she was very sweet and said that she wanted us to try and schedule ahead so that she could have one last appointment with her before she leaves. Now I get one more visit with her on her last day in the office and the last 20 weeks are going to be with my new Dr.

Continuing the march toards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

14 Weeks

I'm aware that time has almost passed me by this week. I blinked and this week of pregnancy is gone and I hear it just gets worse.

How far along: 14 Weeks 5 Days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Well assuming my mother's scale is somewhat correct I've lost another 5lbs but honestly I think it's just hiding planning an evil comeback.

Maternity Clothes: Still going back and forth I'm not ready to ditch my cute summer tops so the next few months will put my stretchy clothes to the test. Thank god for spandex, elastic and lycra.

Stretch Marks: My old ones on my belly are looking a little red and angry.

Sleep: Please? I just want enough to function at work.

Movement: Still think I feel flutters from time to time but only every couple of days.

Food Cravings/Aversions: This week I have been digging lemonade but the ulcers in my mouth say no more.
I want most things sweet, cheesy, or a good steak would be nice.

Gender: I'm growing more and more impatient and would like to know but no strong feelings either way.

Belly Button In or Out: Same status

What I Miss: Sleep and being able to button my pants

What I am Looking Forward To: My appointment coming up next week which I found out will be my last with Dr. Wilkie. ( this turns into the part I am not looking forward to )I can't believe I was dumped by my OBGYN by letter. I suppose I could have found out via facebook. She is moving and I guess I will be scheduling my gender scan and all upcoming appointments with my landlord. That's right your eyes do not deceive you. Dr. Curry is my landlord and this is awkward. How do you introduce yourself and say oh by the way I live in your house with no pants on?

Weekly Wisdom: I'm sure someone gave me some great wisdom but I'm not running on all 8 cylinders today.

Best Moment This Week: Spending  Sunday in bed with my husband being lazy and sleeping in. I'm trying to get these things out of my system.

How appropriate since I have been loving my lemonade this week.
Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.

13 Weeks

How far along: 13 Weeks 5 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not sure until I make it back to the Dr's office

Maternity Clothes:  Still using some of my regular pants unzipped and some maternity. I also wore a few maternity shirts that were smaller.

Stretch Marks: Same old stetchies

Sleep: Ehhh, ok as long as I take my unisom but allergy season is here and it's left me not being able to breathe. I woke up one night gasping when I was having a dream that I was swimming and the water kept coming over my head. Turns out my nose was completely stopped up and I was trying to breathe thru my mouth.

Movement: I don't think so but every now and then it feels like the faintest tap on the inside. (It feels differnt than gas) I'd like to think it's baby but I really don't know.

Food Cravings/Aversions: Hmmm.... I've had a lot of grape and orange juice. I had spinich dip and then some ice cream for breakfast Sunday. I wanted catfish out of nowhere today so yeah I would say so but most of the time they are random and if I don't eat it soon after thinking about it then I move on to something else. Maybe that is just the fat girl in me?

Gender: Not sure but I'm starting to get a little impatient and I think I change my mind from day to day about the gender.

Belly Button In or Out: In

What I Miss: This isn't pregnancy related but this week I miss being able to go thru the day without sneezing 30 times and my eyes staying all watery and red.

What I am Looking Forward To: I have an appointment coming up on the 30th and I love getting to hear the heartbeat and I should be a pro at peeing in a cup by the time this is all said and done which I'm not looking forward to that part but I guess it's an even trade.

Weekly Wisdom: Pee regularly when you are constantly sneezing and coughing, your pants will thank you. I laughed at my mom for always looking for a bathroom and now I will pay.

Best Moment This Week: Making it to the 2nd Trimester! It was nice to go visit my mom this weekend. I can't say a lot has happened this week other than work related and I haven't come to the conclusion on if it's good or bad yet. I think I've had my fill of that place though. Who wants to hire a pregnant cosmetologist/customer service rep?

Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy. (Much more convenient.)

12 Weeks

How far along: 12 weeks 3 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  I'm not sure but my appetite is slowly coming back so I'm sure the weight will too.

Maternity Clothes: I've been enjoying my pants but I'm still wearing my regular jeans too here and there.

Stretch Marks: I'm noticing that some of my originals on the belly are stretching a little more.

Sleep: I'm sleeping well most nights lately. I'm usually waking up to pee at least once a night now and still coughing so that doesn't help.

Movement: Nothing that I can feel yet.

Food Cravings/Aversions: Still eating the same things cheese, potatoes, pizza.

Gender: I think I'm on team blue this week...

Belly Button In or Out: I know it's gonna be a while before it pokes out but I'm still shocked I can easily see where it ends now. I never could before now.

What I Miss: Still the same things coffee, beer, sleeping thru the night.

What I am Looking Forward To: Finding out what the baby is so I can stop saying it.

Weekly Wisdom: I'm not feeling very full of wisdom here lately maybe because this baby is sucking the brains out of me. I find my self just staring around all confused at work and I just don't have the attention span to care who has their diabetic shoes and who doesn't anymore. Maybe I'm just burnt out in general

Best Moment This Week: I know it doesn't sound all that great but being able to go to bed early and sleep in on Saturday was wonderful with no phones ringing and no angry geriatric patients by 8 am.

Even though your little Einstein’s body is still growing quite rapidly 2 inches long right now, the overall super-speedy growth of their amazing brain continues to leave the head proportionately larger than the body— and is actually slightly more than one third of their total body mass! The head and neck are still straightening at this point as can be seen by their little chin lifting off of the chest. Your baby is also actively rehearsing “breathing” by using amniotic fluid to prepare the lungs for future air respiration.

11 Weeks

How far along: 11 Weeks 5 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I've lost 11 pounds. Yay!

Maternity Clothes: I've got some pants thrown into the mix and a good friend just gave me a whole arm full of free clothes. I'm so excited.

Stretch Marks: Just the classics

Sleep: Pretty good here lately but the cough syrup is almost gone so I think my luck is about to run out.

Movement: Nothing I can feel yet but apparently the baby didn't wanna stay still long for me to listen to the heartbeat this morning.

Food Cravings/Aversions: Nothing really sounds good lately except pizza and mashed potatoes

Gender: We still have about 6-8 weeks before we know.

Belly Button In or Out: Getting shallow, I can actually see where it stops now.

What I Miss: I've kinda missed beer and coffee here lately.

What I am Looking Forward To: Growing into my new maternity clothes.

Weekly Wisdom: Empty your bladder often when you are coughing all the time, I don't think I need to discuss that any further.

Best Moment This Week: Getting to hear the heartbeat this morning on the doppler at 159 bpm. I think I could listen to it all day. Also I hope I don't jinx myself but my nausea has been a lot better this week too.

Your fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through. But, fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future.
