14 Weeks

I'm aware that time has almost passed me by this week. I blinked and this week of pregnancy is gone and I hear it just gets worse.

How far along: 14 Weeks 5 Days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Well assuming my mother's scale is somewhat correct I've lost another 5lbs but honestly I think it's just hiding planning an evil comeback.

Maternity Clothes: Still going back and forth I'm not ready to ditch my cute summer tops so the next few months will put my stretchy clothes to the test. Thank god for spandex, elastic and lycra.

Stretch Marks: My old ones on my belly are looking a little red and angry.

Sleep: Please? I just want enough to function at work.

Movement: Still think I feel flutters from time to time but only every couple of days.

Food Cravings/Aversions: This week I have been digging lemonade but the ulcers in my mouth say no more.
I want most things sweet, cheesy, or a good steak would be nice.

Gender: I'm growing more and more impatient and would like to know but no strong feelings either way.

Belly Button In or Out: Same status

What I Miss: Sleep and being able to button my pants

What I am Looking Forward To: My appointment coming up next week which I found out will be my last with Dr. Wilkie. ( this turns into the part I am not looking forward to )I can't believe I was dumped by my OBGYN by letter. I suppose I could have found out via facebook. She is moving and I guess I will be scheduling my gender scan and all upcoming appointments with my landlord. That's right your eyes do not deceive you. Dr. Curry is my landlord and this is awkward. How do you introduce yourself and say oh by the way I live in your house with no pants on?

Weekly Wisdom: I'm sure someone gave me some great wisdom but I'm not running on all 8 cylinders today.

Best Moment This Week: Spending  Sunday in bed with my husband being lazy and sleeping in. I'm trying to get these things out of my system.

How appropriate since I have been loving my lemonade this week.
Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.
