Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm not sure but my appetite is slowly coming back so I'm sure the weight will too.
Maternity Clothes: I've been enjoying my pants but I'm still wearing my regular jeans too here and there.
Stretch Marks: I'm noticing that some of my originals on the belly are stretching a little more.
Sleep: I'm sleeping well most nights lately. I'm usually waking up to pee at least once a night now and still coughing so that doesn't help.
Movement: Nothing that I can feel yet.
Food Cravings/Aversions: Still eating the same things cheese, potatoes, pizza.
Gender: I think I'm on team blue this week...
Belly Button In or Out: I know it's gonna be a while before it pokes out but I'm still shocked I can easily see where it ends now. I never could before now.
What I Miss: Still the same things coffee, beer, sleeping thru the night.
What I am Looking Forward To: Finding out what the baby is so I can stop saying it.
Weekly Wisdom: I'm not feeling very full of wisdom here lately maybe because this baby is sucking the brains out of me. I find my self just staring around all confused at work and I just don't have the attention span to care who has their diabetic shoes and who doesn't anymore. Maybe I'm just burnt out in general
Best Moment This Week: I know it doesn't sound all that great but being able to go to bed early and sleep in on Saturday was wonderful with no phones ringing and no angry geriatric patients by 8 am.
Even though your little Einstein’s body is still growing quite rapidly 2 inches long right now, the overall super-speedy growth of their amazing brain continues to leave the head proportionately larger than the body— and is actually slightly more than one third of their total body mass! The head and neck are still straightening at this point as can be seen by their little chin lifting off of the chest. Your baby is also actively rehearsing “breathing” by using amniotic fluid to prepare the lungs for future air respiration.

I'm so sorry that you have been sick but...enjoy going to bed early and getting up late for a little while longer...because in a few more months, that will be gone for at least 18 years or so...LOL....NOT KIDDING A BIT!!!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm not expecting for us to get lucky again but Xander has always been very good to play quietly as long as he has something to eat in the mornings. Since he was 3 if he has a bowl of dry cereal and a cup of milk he is good to go. I'm sure this child will make me eat my words. Being sick has zapped me of energy so I feel like I can't seem to get enough sleep but everyone keeps telling me great things about the 2nd trimester.
